The good news is if you have bursts of anger, remember there is no commendation for those who are in Christ. I had an issue with yelling at my kids, but through God’s help, I infused my home with peace.

Of course, God loves you when you’re angry or not. But anger can keep you from walking in the promises. So let’s pray!

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” Eph 4:31-32.

Samson had no self-control. It seems the only time he prayed to God was when he was in trouble. Joseph was a praying man seeking God’s will for his life. Samson allowed his flesh to control him, whereas Joseph was disciplined since he followed the spirit.

Joseph controlled his emotions, forgave those who hurt him and became second in command in Egypt. On the other hand, Samson died got even with his enemies and allowed his emotions to rule his his life and died blind in the mist of his enemies.

“Here’s my instruction: walk in the Spirit and let the Spirit bring order to your life. If you do, you will never give in to your selfish and sinful cravings.” Gal. 5:16 The Voice.
