Abundant Blessings From God

1)Blessings From God to Man Be Fruitful

In Genesis 1:28, God blessed them and said to them (Adam & Eve), “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

God created you and wants you to be fruitful and multiply. He wants you to have dominion of the earth and all that lives on it. What a blessing of God!

Unfortunately, Adam and Eve messed up and brought the curse into the world. But even then, God blessed them. He helped Adam and Eve by making clothes for them. God locked them out of the garden since, if now they ate from the tree of life, they would live forever in their sinful state.

When I question God’s goodness in my life, I can go back to that first blessing and know God desires me to be fruitful, and if I make a mistake, He will shield me.

Prayer For Fruitfulness, Blessings From God

God, thank you for desiring me to be fruitful and increase and for the promise of dominion in my life to be the head and not the tail. Help me be fruitful not just physically, but also spiritually and emotionally. Please help me be obedient in all areas of my life so I can live the life Jesus died to give me. I ask this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

2)Gives Land —Blessing From The Lord

“The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.” Deut 28:8

Although parcels of land are blessings from God, don’t feel left out if you don’t own property. The Levite priest tribe was the only one that did not receive a piece of property since God was their inheritance.

That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the LORD is their inheritance, as the LORD your God told them.

Jeremiah said, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope for him!” Lam. 3:24

Isn’t it fitting that Jesus, our High Priest, didn’t own land either? Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” Matthew 8:20

The Lord wants to bless you with land, but if He doesn’t, don’t worry, remember God is your inheritance. God love you and He will bless you in other ways!

Prayers for Acquiring Land

Over your land

God, I come to you in prayer thanking you for the land you have blessed me with. I ask You would continue to bless me and my family and that You would give us wisdom on how to steward this land well. Please protect our property and keep it fruitful. In Jesus’ name, amen.

To be blessed with land

Lord, I come to you in prayer asking for Your blessing in my life. I ask You would give me the desires of my heart and that You would provide for me what is best for me. 3)Cares for Our Land-Blessings From God

The Lord gives us the land but blesses the land when we take care of it.

“I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season, I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:26.

For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessings from God. Hebrews 6:7

Know in your heart the Lord blesses our nations with crops, whether you cultivate a garden or have a large amount of land. The Lord desires for us to be fruitful and multiply in all areas of our lives!

Prayers for Harvest

Prayer, Father, thank you for blessing our land and making it fruitful. We ask you would continue to bless us as we take care of the land you have given us. Shower us and our families with your harvest blessings! Help us wisdom in the ways we use this land and to multiply in every way possible. In Jesus’ name, amen.

4)Our Food- Blessings from God

Another blessing from God is an abundance of food and water.

“I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.” Exodus 23:25

The Lord doesn’t want us sick, but unfortunately, we live in a fallen world where sickness does happen. But we have a God who is greater than any sickness!

Jesus died on the cross to take away our sins, including sickness. He has already paid the price for us to be healed!

Isaiah 53:45 says, “He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds, we are healed.”

“He himself took our infirmities and carried our diseases.” Matthew 8:17

So not only do we have food and water as blessings from God, but we also have healing! We can pray for healing over ourselves, loved ones, and even entire nations!

Prayer for Food, Water and Healing

Father, In Jesus’ name we pray for an abundance of food and water for our family and nation. We ask You would protect us from illness and heal any sickness in our lives. Thank you for your blessings of healing, food, and water. Amen.

5)Transforms Curses into Blesses

“But the LORD your God refused to listen to Balaam. He turned the intended curse into a blessing because the LORD your God loves you.” Deut 23:5

Next time you experience a curse, remember that the Lord can turn it into a blessing for you! He loves you and wants to bless you abundantly! It might not happen right away. Have faith and keep praying, asking God to do this in your life. Thank Him for His goodness and love today!

Father, in Jesus’ name, we come to you asking that You would turn any curses spoken against us into blessings. We know that You are a God who loves us and wants to bless us abundantly. Help us to not take curses personally, but to trust in Your love and goodness. Thank You for Your faithfulness in this area! Amen.

6)Material Blessings From God

Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant, he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath. Deut. 8:17.

The blessing of the LORD brings [true] riches, And He adds no sorrow to it [for it comes as a blessing from God] Proverbs 9:22

The Lord wants to bless you in a variety of ways, including material blessings.

But if you are not at the moment blessed financially, believe the Lord is faithful and will not forget His covenant with you. Ask Him for wisdom on how to handle money and possessions.

He desires to bless you abundantly in every area of your life!

Prayer for Financial Blessings from God

The Lord also promises to add no sorrow to these blessings- meaning that they will be a source of joy in our lives!

Father in heaven, we come to You asking for a financial blessing in our lives. We know that You are a God who is faithful and desires to bless us abundantly. We are grateful for all the blessings in our life. Help us to be wise with the money, help us to use it for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When we receive material blessings from God, let’s be sure to remember to give Him the glory! He is the one who gave us the power to be successful in the first place!

7)Blessed to Be A Blessing!

“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God that he has given you.” Deut. 16:17

“A generous man will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.” Proverbs 22:9

God blesses us to be a blessing to others. You just might be the answer to someone’s prayers.

When God graces us, we must consider how to give back to others and pay it forward. That’s what it means to be a blessing! It doesn’t have to be material; you can offer your time, energy, prayers, or love to others.

Father in heaven, we come before You asking that You would use us to bless others. We know that You are a God who loves to give abundantly. Help us to be open to Your Spirit so we can recognize the needs of those around us. Amen.

8)Spiritual Blessings From God

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,” Eph. 1:3. If you ever wondered what spiritual blessings the list is  below.

Spiritual Blessings In Eph. 1:3-8.

1.  God has chosen you and loves you, and sees you with no faults. Eph. 1:4
2. You’ve been adopted into God’s family because of Jesus. Eph. 1:5
3. Because you have accepted Jesus, God has extended His Grace to you. Eph 1:6
4. Since you’ve been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, God forgives your sins. Eph 1:7
5. God gives us knowledge and understanding as a gift of His kindess. Eph 1:8

Aren’t you grateful for all these spiritual blessings from God?

There are many more spiritual blessings in the Bible, but the list above include are vitally important. Just because we have received these blessings, it doesn’t mean that we will automatically live a blessed life. We must stay close to God and obey Him if we want to experience all that He has for us!

Prayer for Spiritual Blessings from God

Heavenly Father, thank you for choosing us, adopting us, loving us, forgiving us, and seeing us without faults. Thank you for your generosity and kindness in providing us with knowledge and understanding to help us. We also thank you for your gift of Jesus, who died to provide us with these spiritual blessings. Help us walk in these  blessings you have given us for your Glory.

• Abraham went from not having children to having a miracle child
• Isaac planted crops and the same year reaped a hundred
• Jacob runs from his father, gives birth to the 12 tribes of Israel
• Joseph went from slave to second in command in Egypt
• Moses runs from Egypt and delivers the Hebrews from a life of slavery
• David God took to Shepherd boy to king
• Mary birthed Jesus
• Mary Magdalene had 7 demons cast out/first person to see the resurrected Jesus

To list a few of those who received blessings from God! But there’s lots more. Remember God is no respecter of persons and God wants to bless you!

Final Thoughts

What is the greatest blessing from God? We could spend hours discussing all the amazing blessings that come from our Father in heaven, but if we had to choose just one, it would have to be His love. He loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for us!

Blessings from God are innumerable! He blesses us with physical health, financial provision, protection, spiritual guidance, and so much more! As we come into His presence today, let’s thank Him for all the blessings in our lives and pray for Him to continue to bless us abundantly.
