When God Fights Your Battles

Have you ever felt like God’s not fighting for you? You might feel stuck in a difficult situation with no way out. Sometimes family and friends might ditch you in your time of need. You feel abandoned. I know I felt that way. But that’s when we need to know God is always for you and wants to help you. Remember, the Lord fights for you and when God fights your battles, victory is certain because He never fails.

But how does one even stay calm and let God fight your battles? I’ve gone from always worrying to peace in knowing God will fight for me, and He will fight for you, too. I’ve found when I would try to fix everything and everybody by myself, my troubles became worse.

Maybe that’s why you’re reading this you’ve struggled on your own for so long, but your d-o-n-e. I’m here to tell you it’s time to turn the tide on your battle by inviting God to help you. He is waiting on the sidelines for you to invite Him in. Don’t give up! Your victory might be closer than you think.

What does the Bible say about God will fight for you?

One of the most quoted Bible verses about when God fights your battles is Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.” Then God tells Moses that after today you won’t see your enemy anymore and, “The Lord will fight for you, just stay calm.”

Here’s the interesting part, of the rest of Exodus 14:14-after God’s pep talk, he asks Moses, “Why are you crying to me.” Then God told Moses what to do next place your staff in the sea and God parted the see. When God comes to rescue you remain calm so you can hear God’s instructions, so you can partner with God.

Then the Lord helps Moses by drowning the pursuing army, saving Moses along with God’s chosen people. Guess what, you are one of God’s chosen ones therefore God will help you in your struggles.

When God fights your battle, He will turn things around suddenly!

King Abimelech took Abraham’s wife, Sarah, because He wanted to sleep with her. All of this was Abraham’s fault because he lied to the king trying to pass Sarah off as his sister. Abraham lied. The Lord will fight against those who fight against you, even if it was your fault.

Lord, in Jesus’ name, I pray you will invade my enemy in their dreams, showing their injustices against me and the error of their ways. We pray that when they wake up from sleep, they will have a change of heart toward me and return anything that belongs to me. Also Lord help me pray and bless those that hurt me. When I wake up in the morning, we pray that all my enemies will turn back into friends. Amen.

Speed up Your Victory

While the battle was going on with the Amalekites, Moses raised his arms as they were winning the battle. But when Moses lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, his family made Moses sit on a stone and they helped Moses by holding his arms up.

Moses’ outstretched arms represent intercessory prayer. Therefore, fight your battle on your knees, or rest even Moses sit on a stone. Which reminds when we are weary, trust in the rock of Christ to help you.

God, when I am weary, teach me to trust that You will fight my battle on the Rock of Christ. When I’m worn, enlist family or friends to pray for and with me so we can go into victory together. In Jesus’ name, Lord, break all word curses over my life and turn those curses into blessings. When I’m close to entering my promised land and the enemy is trying to curse me, turn those word curses into abundant blessings. Thank you Lord, for fighting against those that oppose me. Thank You Lord for give me victory and protecting me for word curses.

When God Fights your battles, He will use the supernatural

The church prayed for Peter while he was in prison. As a result of those prayers, God sent an angel to free Peter.

And when Paul was praying and singing to God, an earthquake shook the prison foundations and all doors blew opened!

When God fights your battles, he’ll use supernatural means that are beyond what is humanly possible. Remember, with God, all things are possible.

Lord, in Jesus’ name, when things seem beyond help remind me to sing and worship you even through tears. When I’m discouraged and don’t know what to do, let me seek your face. When my enemies are against me, remind me they are fighting against You, too. When I’m in a hopeless place, remind me of your goodness and faithfulness

Surround me with your angels to protect and fight for me. Use your angels to move nature and defeat my opponents. Lord let me see the angels that are helping me, just like Peter saw his angel. Amen.
