I will magnify God with thanksgiving, My spirit rejoices in God, my Savior. Thank You, Lord, for healing my broken heart and binding up my wounds. Jesus, thank you that by your stripes I am healed. Thank you, Lord, for sending forth your word and rescuing me from the grave. Lord help me, not forget your benefits. Thank You for forgiving my sin and healing my diseases. A Proven Thanksgiving Prayer for Healing

My hands had painful arthritis when I typed my fingers throbbed.

I asked God to heal me, I prayed, I stood in healing lines… Nothing. Until a friend prayed a simple thanksgiving prayer for healing, as shown below.

Dear God, I thank you for Susan and thank you for her hands and what they do. Thank You, one day God will use your hand for His glory. We thank you for the joy of knowing these hands are made strong so they can touch others with love and care. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, we thank you for your healing power going into her hands.

A simple thanksgiving prayer for healing proved effective. I realized I was healed! Finally, no more stinging pain in my hands.

In that moment, I realized with this simple thanksgiving prayer for healing, God answered our prayers.  

My hands were normal.

The next day I could type without pain and my arthritis never came back. Praise God! He is a God who heals Thank You Jesus!

—One way you can thank God for your healing is go tell others what God has done for you. The testimony of Jesus Christ is Prophecy. (Rev 10:9)

Sometimes healing takes time, the ten lepers they walked out their healing.  

Remember, only one healed leper came back to thank Jesus. It seemed the thankful leper wanted to know Jesus better.

What Is A Good Prayer For Healing?

I command the pain to leave my body now. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Thank You, Jesus, for bearing our sins in your body on the cross. So that I might die to sin, live for righteousness and by Your wounds I am healed. Lord help me not t be afraid and to have faith that I will be healed. Thank You, Lord, that I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. John 14:13, 1 Pet 2:24 Luke 8:50 Ps. 118:17

And if you don’t see healing, keep praying and never feel guilty. You are praying enough to be healed. You prayed your believing for your healing the rest is up to God.

What is our greatest prayer of praise and thanksgiving?

In Rev. Four 4:8-9, John records how living creatures in heaven give thanks to God for His glory: “Holy holy holy,is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” And John writes that whenever the living creature give thanks, “the twenty-four elders fall down before Him and worship Him. ” Isn’t it amazing that all of heaven is worshiping the Father continually and on earth we need to follow the angels example and have a heart of thankfulness to our Father. After all our Father sent Jesus to earth for our salvation.

It’s a powerful image to know in heaven, we will all worship and give thanks to Our Father. Why don’t we start today with a heartfelt thanksgiving prayer for healing, whether you’ve been healed or your waiting to be healed. Honestly I was shocked when God healed my hands after my friends prayer. Who knows the impact a thanksgiving prayer for healing will have on your life and those you pray for.
